Episode 2 of the podcast is up and ready for review
In this episode we talk a little bit about actor, author, director and interesting fellow Bruce Campbell. We touch a bit on his past film work as well one of his books: If Chins Could Kill. I haven't read the second one, Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way, but if it's anything like his other work it will be worth reading.
We look at one of, in my opinion, Bruce's most fun films- Army of Darkness, directed by Sam Raimi.
We talk about the One Laptop per Child project, which I became aware of through the Memepunks blog (Keep an eye on this one folks, it's really quite cool!). The OLPC initiative website can be found here.
We also introduce our new feature, the song of the week. This week we have Secret Hallways by Aaron Rathbun.
The regular show music is listed in the right hand column.
In our tangent thought of the week we discuss Mary King's Close, one of the most fascinating places to visit in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Army of Dakrness includes a tribute to Ray Harryhousen's groundbreaking special effects from the 1958 film 7th Voyage of Sinbad
