I took a trip to the Pennisc war. I wax poetic (alright actually I blather on a bit) about what it's like. It's a vast and immersive event both day and night.
I spend a little time talking about childhood obesity and video games. This is a pervasive problem but there are actually some video games that have the potential to help fight the problem rather than contribute to it.

The Chronicles of Riddick is a really fun movie. Not high cinema or great art, though it is a visual feast. It is however a great ride.
These are really neat things to look at/listen to and think about.
Visualize the worlds population.
Listen to the worlds population say hello.
Liquid based body armor.

See what the world is looking at on the web.

The Pennsic War looks like it should be in merry old England not the states but then again Hollywood has churned out many a knights and maiden movie over the years. It makes a change from the civil war recreations I suppose.
Riddick is a fun movie and it does help if you give your brain cells a rest while watching:)
