I did wonder about the Haloween special:)
Diwali is celebrated around the midlands (central UK) and in a style very much like christmas. It's a good example of a faiths public celebration (again like christmas) which can be celebrated by non-believers and with no apparent religeous intolerance. Perhaps there is hope for the world:)
